He understood our remodel, gave us a realistic estimate of cost, communicated with us each day throughout the project, and brought together a variety of ideas into a finished product that we continue to enjoy each day. Covenant Contractors has remodeled/renovated every square foot of this 90 year old house since we bought it in 1998-from the kitchen, to the bedrooms, to the bathrooms, to replacing windows, to adding a garage from the ground up, and even to remodeling the garage apartment in the back. All these things have been done without compromising the 90 year old feel of the house. Phil Phelps is wonderful to work with-he has the right combination of knowledge and know-how combined with the ability to point me in the direction that is perfect for this old house. He works really well with the subcontractors I select and most importantly he works beautifully with me! I would not want anyone else to work on this old house but Covenant Contractors.

We contracted with this firm to renovate and upgrade a single-level brick home In sound condition when we purchased it in April 2011. It was built in 1985. Covenant Contractors removed original "popcorn" ceilings, replaced existing tile flooring in the kitchen & 3 bathrooms, refinished cabinets in the kitchen & 2 bathrooms, installed new custom cabinets in the master bathroom, reconfigured the master bathroom by moving & replacing the tub, installed new toilets, rebuilt the shower, created his/hers walk-in closets off the same bathroom with new cabinets & clothing storage, installed crown moldings thruout the house, installed hardwood flooring in the dining room, repainted the entire interior of the house, installed new lighting throughout, new interior doors/hardware, & installed new carpeting. Quality of the work was outstanding! It was performed on-time, on-budget, creatively and professionally, with weekly reports. In fact, we went on a 3-week vacation in Hawaii and the firm's owner provided updates & reports thruout our vacation. We strongly recommend this contractor for his professionalism & integrity -- he was practical, responsive & easy to work with thruout the project. -David & Karen Swearingen
